Booking process

1. SunVoucher can be purchased up to 4 hours before departure.
2. Passengers can purchase vouchers during booking or after they have booked their international flight with SunExpress and save up to 1€ per passenger per route on snacks and drinks on board (subject to availability and whilst stocks last)
   • Coin exchange is not possible. Passengers are advised to use all the credit which equals the total value of the voucher
   • Vouchers are only valid on the selected international flight(s) for which they have been purchased
   • Vouchers are non-transferable and non-refundable, except for the conditions mentioned below in the Refund Section (13-20)
   • A voucher can be redeemed only once. Partial redemption is not possible.
   • Vouchers cannot be used on domestic flights

Definitions

3. For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”), the following words shall have the following meanings:
   • “Booker” shall refer to the lead passenger in whose name the flight booking has been made;
   • “Güneş Ekspres”” shall refer to Güneş Ekspres Havacılık A.Ş;
   • “Passenger(s)” shall refer to the Booker and any other passenger on Booker’s booking;
   • “Product(s)” shall refer only to food and drinks (non-alcoholic drinks only), and excludes (i) any goods from the virtual section of the range, (ii) any products other than food and beverages, and/or all kind of services provided by Güneş Ekspres or any of Güneş Ekspres’s partners, (iii) any onward travel services available for purchase on-board, and (iv) any products and services offered at the airport;
   • “Selected Flight(s)” shall refer to the routes on which the vouchers are available; and
   • “Voucher(s)” shall refer to prepaid vouchers that Passengers will be submitted via e-mail notification as part of the booking confirmation e-mail. The voucher can be purchased online during or after booking a Selected Flight with Güneş Ekspres, which may be redeemed onboard the Selected Flight against Products.

Availability and Use of the Vouchers

4. Prior to the Selected Flight(s), SunExpress cabin crew members assigned to the respective flight(s) will be informed about the Passengers who have purchased SunVoucher(s) and will apply the discount to their devices. In addition, the Booker on Selected Flight(s) will receive a booking confirmation e-mail including Vouchers for use onboard the Güneş Ekspres flight(s) they have booked. Passengers are recommended to take a screenshot of the e-mail or print out the confirmation email to present in the event of a dispute.
5. Vouchers can only be purchased by the Booker. When there is more than one Passenger on a single booking, the Booker can purchase Vouchers on behalf of the other Passengers on that same booking.
6. Vouchers are available in denominations of 10.00 €
7. The purchase price of each Voucher is 90% of its redeemable value. Therefore, the cost of the Vouchers is as follows

7. Vouchers can only be exchanged for Products onboard the Selected Flight(s) for which they have been purchased, as noted in the booking confirmation e-mail.
8. Güneş Ekspres reserves the right to change the list of available Products at any time and Güneş Ekspres cannot guarantee the availability of all Products on all Selected Flights.
9. Güneş Ekspres reserves the right to amend the list of Selected Flights in respect of which the Vouchers are available for purchase at any time. If Güneş Ekspres changes the ability to use Vouchers on a Selected Flight after Vouchers have been purchased for that Selected Flight, Güneş Ekspres will reimburse the amount paid for affected Vouchers in accordance with clause 20 below.
10. Güneş Ekspres reserves the right to modify this Voucher scheme or cancel Vouchers already purchased. If Güneş Ekspres modifies or cancels Vouchers after they have been purchased, Güneş Ekspres will reimburse the amount paid for affected Vouchers in accordance with clause 20 below.
11. The name(s) stated on the Voucher(s) which is provided in the booking confirmation e-mail must match the name(s) stated on the boarding pass of the Passenger(s) who will redeem the Voucher. Güneş Ekspres reserves the right to inspect boarding passes to ensure that the Passenger has the right to exchange the Voucher(s).
12. Güneş Ekspres reserves the right to refuse to allow the exchange of the Vouchers onboard the Selected Flight if its staff has reasonable suspicion that the Passenger has fraudulently attempted to duplicate Vouchers, or otherwise seek to disadvantage Güneş Ekspres by misuse of these Voucher schemes.

Refund

13. A Voucher cannot be refunded if not used on the Selected Flight specified on the Voucher, regardless of whether the Passenger flies or not. Subject to clauses 14, 15, and 16 below, a Passenger who misses their flight or does not use their Voucher(s) for any reason within or outside of their control will not receive a refund for unused Vouchers.
14. If Güneş Ekspres cancels the Selected Flight or the Selected Flight is canceled due to an event caused by a major disruption, this will constitute a reason for refund under clause 20.
15. If Güneş Ekspres is unable to serve any of the Products on the Selected Flight, the Booker can apply for a refund in respect of the Vouchers that they have purchased which are affected by the situation in accordance with clause 20. Lack of availability of some Products on the Selected Flight does not constitute a cause for refund under this clause.
16. If the Booker has purchased Voucher(s) for the Selected Flight but subsequently rebooks the Selected Flight for a later date, it is possible to transfer the Voucher to the rebooked flight on changes made until the time the system approves the change.
17. If the total cost of the Products purchased onboard the Selected Flight is less than the value of the Voucher(s) used to purchase the Products, the unused amount of the Voucher(s) will not be refunded, and change will not be given to the Passenger. The difference between the cost of the Products and the value of the Voucher cannot be set off against the cost of any other purchase of Güneş Ekspres’s products or services, or any of Güneş Ekspres partners’ products or services or at any airport.
18. If the total cost of the Products purchased onboard the Selected Flight is greater than the value of the Voucher(s) used to purchase the Products, the Booker must pay the difference in cash or with card (subject to availability) in order to pay the total amount.
19. If the Booker is eligible for a refund under these Terms and conditions, the Booker should contact SunExpress via the contact form, or via phone at SunExpress Customer Service Center. Calls will be charged at local rates. Here you can find more information about call rates. Please note that calls may be monitored and recorded for training and quality standarts purposes.
20. Refunds can only be claimed by the Booker on behalf of other Passengers registered in the same PNR. Refunds can only be claimed for the amount paid for the Vouchers rather than the value for which they can be redeemed.

Age Restrictions

21. Passengers younger than 18 years of age who are traveling on the Selected Flight may exchange Vouchers if given permission by the Booker who purchased the Voucher(s).

Use of Your Personal Data

22. By purchasing Voucher(s), the Booker and Passengers who are registered in the same PNR with the Booker agree to the processing of their personal data by Güneş Ekspres in accordance with Güneş Ekspres’ Protection of Personal Data Announcement. Güneş Ekspres may also transfer the limited personal data of passengers to catering providers to enable them to provide services.

Governing Law and Other Provisions

23. These Terms and Conditions are subject to the Turkish law and the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Antalya Courts.
24. These Terms and Conditions are also subject to the existing Terms and Conditions for Güneş Ekspres’s SunCafé Menu, which shall apply to all Products on sale.
