Wheelchair service requests: SunExpress Special Assistance rules

Information on special assistance at the airport

For passengers with reduced mobility traveling on SunExpress flights, we offer three kinds of wheelchair services at the airport which can be booked in advance via our website:

  • Wheelchair Service Level 1 (WCHR): The wheelchair service will bring you to the aircraft and pick you up from the aircraft at the destination airport.
  • Wheelchair Service Level 2 (WCHS): The wheelchair service will bring you to the aircraft door and pick you up from there at the destination airport.
  • Wheelchair Service Level 3 (WCHC): The wheelchair service will bring you to your seat in the cabin and pick you up from there at the destination airport.

 To ensure your comfort and that we can arrange the support that best meets your needs, please observe the following guidelines:

  1. As the number of wheelchairs available for each flight is limited, please make your wheelchair reservation during your booking or well in advance. If you book this service at shorter notice, we may not be able to guarantee the wheelchair assistance requested.
  2. To benefit from our WCHR or WCHS service, passengers with reduced mobility are not required to submit written proof. However, when requesting a wheelchair service, please let us know what your special needs are.
  3. Passengers who need our WCHC service are required to present a health report proving that they are not able to walk without assistance.
