Human remains in coffins must be packed as follows:

The packing must not reveal the contents.

Caution: In cases where human remains contain infectious diseases/substances, the following additional processes are recommended:

  • Ensure the coffin is soldered, close-fitting, and does not allow any leakage during acceptance.
  • Inform related persons accordingly.
  • Use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment – such as gloves) during the cargo handling process.
  • Use informative marking on the coffin.
