COVID 19 has significant impact on air travel demand and thus on capacity. To react to the market upheaval and to offer a sustainable capacity, we decided to consolidate our two airlines – SunExpress Germany and SunExpress Türkiye (Turkey) – under one airline operation headquartered in Antalya /Türkiye (Turkey) and to become even stronger and expand our position as market leader within our segments.
We are the #1 partner of Turkish Tourism. And we – the home carrier of Antalya and Izmir – have been the first ones to be back when Turkish domestic travel opened on June 1st. We remain the reliable partner that we are known for and keep our capacity aligned in order to serve these cities year around, along with many more connections between Türkiye (Turkey) and Europe.
Our unparalleled network and experience is the proof point that we understand our visiting friends and relatives passengers who are among our most important customers. With the consolidation of our business, we put even more emphasis on European wide routes and the Turkish hospitality in board.
